We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Director to join our leadership team and ensure our operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Position Summary:


The Compliance Director will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company’s compliance program. This role ensures that our policies and procedures align with all regulatory requirements, manages internal audits, and provides guidance on compliance issues. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in compliance management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Compliance Strategy: Develop and implement compliance strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Policy Development: Create, update, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory changes and updates, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Audits and Investigations: Oversee internal audits and investigations to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Education: Develop and conduct compliance training programs for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess compliance risks, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance and support to management and staff on compliance-related matters.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary contact with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities and decisions.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compliance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Certification: Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
