Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Reliability Manager to join our team in Carrollton, Georgia. This newly opened position will play a pivotal role in ensuring equipment and process reliability through the implementation and development of predictive and preventative maintenance activities. The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Direct and manage a team responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Schedule and assign maintenance tasks through work orders, ensuring timely completion and follow-up.
  • Equipment Calibration: Oversee the scheduling and maintenance of equipment calibrations, including spark testers, lump-neck, and line counters.
  • Technical Support: Provide leadership in diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctioning machinery, utilizing test equipment and collaborating with other maintenance staff.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Support and lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives, driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes and practices.
  • Process Improvement: Assess existing equipment and processes, working with operations and engineering teams to implement modifications that enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and service agreements for maintenance-related supplies and services.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare reports, analyze maintenance data, and make informed recommendations to improve operations and resolve maintenance challenges.
  • Training & Development: Ensure that maintenance associates are well-trained, equipped, and motivated to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
  • CMMS Management: Maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, equipment maintenance history, and key maintenance metrics.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including digital controls.
  • Strong background in mechanical systems and electronic controls with hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read and interpret specifications and prints.
  • Competence in using computer applications such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage and lead a technical team effectively.
