General Description

Under the direction of the CEO & President, the Chief Operating Officer has the responsibility for overall company operations. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: contribute and drive towards a sales driven winning environment; driving sales and revenue through market and employee development; strategic management including 1 year, 3 year and 5 year plans; creating and holding leaders accountable to metrics to support our winning environment; maintaining gross profit margins, expense control, client service; and personnel management including internal staff and field staff, employee coaching/counseling, relationship building, supervision, recruiting, staffing, and quality assurance. Although many duties may be delegated, accountability for performance remains with the COO.

Travel to any offices based on any of the business needs of the office.

Qualifications

Any combination of education and/or experience which provides the required skill and knowledge for successful performance. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to the following:

1. College degree & minimum of ten years’ experience in healthcare staffing

2. Five years of senior leadership experience

3. Demonstrated ability to develop and follow through on a business plan

4. Understanding of and ability to dissect and analyze financial statements

5. Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a sales or customer service team

6. Computer literacy with professional written and oral communication skills

7. Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills

8. Ability to interact successfully with others in the workplace and healthcare community

9. Effective negotiation skills

10. Positive attitude


Compensation

This full-time position is salaried and exempt from payment of overtime compensation. In addition, a bonus/commission program and other incentives may be offered at the discretion of the executive leader(s).
