Varnia Veterinary Clinic is on the lookout for a Rockstar Veterinary Assistant. Location: Richmond, VA 23231 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday until 6pm, NO WEEKENDS Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hour - negotiable based on experience Since 1992, Varina Veterinary Clinichas proudly served the Richmond community with compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families. A friendly and outgoing communicator that brings positivity to each shift. Handling and restraining animals with confidence and compassion. Supporting the doctors and techs throughout appointments and procedures. You are not afraid to jump in and help wherever needed. You are quick to learn new skills and eager to grow within our practice. You desire a long-term role where you can build meaningful connections. Your Role in the Pack: Provide hands-on support for veterinary care including: Restraint, gathering patient history, preparing vaccines, filling medications, assisting in exams and treatments. Processing in-house labs, surgical prep, and nail trims Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners. Help maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient care throughout the facility.
