When you join our organization as a Veterinary Technician, you gain access to a peer network of over 5000 individuals, CE allowance, and Learning & Development programs to help you meet your career goals.Position Skills:Professional client communication and educationObtaining medical histories and symptomsLaboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecalsDiagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff membersNursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, anaesthesia monitoringProficient in dental prophylaxisPosition Requirements:Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.Associates degree in Veterinary TechnologyReady to help us WAG?
