Senior Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee high-profile construction projects from inception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing stakeholder relationships and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning sessions and develop project schedules.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost estimating and financial forecasting.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including bidding and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment with design specifications.
  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on-site.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate change management processes to address project scope changes.
  • Utilize project management software such as Procore and Primavera P6 for tracking and reporting.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and manage communications effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial construction.
  • Proven experience in project management techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimating and bidding processes.
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction specifications.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with safety policies and regulations in construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software, specifically Procore and Primavera P6.
