Construction Project Manager

Brockwell & Carrington Contractors, Inc., a leader in New Jersey’s public-sector construction, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up public works projects exceeding $15 million in value. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a results-driven professional with a strong track record in delivering large, complex building projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of project delivery, from preconstruction through closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.Oversee contract administration, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Coordinate effectively with the owner, design team, consultants, and subcontractors.Monitor construction progress through regular site visits and meetings with field staff.Partner with superintendents to align field operations with budget and schedule goals.Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.Lead project meetings and maintain clear, professional communication with the owner and project partners.Qualifications10+ years of experience managing large public construction projects ($15M+).Strong knowledge of NJ public procurement, prevailing wage, and DPMC/NJEDA procedures.Proficiency in reviewing Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP documents.Experience with CPM scheduling and construction cost controls.Advanced proficiency in project management and construction software: Autodesk Build (preferred), Procore, Primavera, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Excel.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting RFIs, submittals, and formal correspondence.Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: Starting at $140,000, commensurate with experienceHealth Insurance (BCBS)Paid Holidays & VacationSimple IRA with employer contribution
