Clinical Program Supervisor LCSW/LPC

Program Supervisor reports to Clinical Program Director for CSS and Residential Services. the Supervisor oversees clinical as well as administrative aspects for the program in accordance with evidenced based practices and standards of care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. An ability to provide leadership and support to staff in implementing Community Support Services. Demonstrates

cultural sensitivity to those served as well as modeling the way for staff to enrich cultural awareness and sensitivity.

2. Participates in supervisory and leadership trainings in which will enhance managerial skillsets as relates to

supervising staff. Participates in ongoing community support services and trauma informed trainings in which will

enhance and promote staff direct service efforts necessary to assist consumers achieve person centered rehabilitative

wellness and recovery goals.

3. Provides in- house staff supervision as well as in - field supervision when indicated by program leadership.

4. Provides proactive support with new hire orientation and targeted training, consumer move in logistics, quarterly

chart audits and report submissions.

5. Demonstrates an ability to collaborate with behavioral health and chronically homeless providers in the

community e.g. Coordinated Entry Assessment Center (City of Trenton). Attends Monthly Trenton Psychiatric

Olmstead Discharge Case Review Meetings as well as Continuum of Care Data Systems Performance Quality

Meetings.

7. Demonstrates a shared vision, willingness and ability to participate actively in the development of continued

program expansion initiatives.

8. Provide as required direct services for challenging cases in which staff are in need of skilled development

coaching and strategic intervention support when indicated and directed by Clinical Program Director for CSS and

Residential Services.

9. Practices in partnership with staff and various stakeholders in which promotes continuous commitment to

program excellence and recognized in the community as the supportive housing provider of choice. Completes

special program initiatives and assignments as requested by Clinical Program Director for CSS and Residential

Services and agency leadership.

10. Conducts Comprehensive Rehabilitative Needs Assessment and Individualized Rehabilitation Plans in the

community as well as maintain the completion of all assessments, documentation and treatment plans by designated

staff persons.

11. Along with the Clinical Program Director for CSS and Residential Services, takes proactive role in the

recruitment of new hires, orientation /training as well as mindful of providing support in which supports staff

development and retention.

12. Provides collaborative leadership with the Clinical Program Director for CSS and Residential Services with

scheduling On Call Staff Rotation and is Active Participant in Administrative on Call Rotation.

13. Will complete quarterly PDSA and Logic Models Reports.

14. Will participate in the Housing Search / Collaborative landlord work for City of Trenton and DMHAS

Consumers as well as HUD 811 vacancies.

15. Complete all external consumer intakes and facilitate all CSS admissions.

16. Other duties assigned by Director of Residential Services, Clinical Program Director for CSS and Residential

Services and Agency Leadership.

Position Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Must possess relevant professional credential such as NJ Licensed
  • Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in accordance with Community Support Specialist – State Plan

Amendment under Title XIX (Medicaid).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
