Role Description
This is a contract role for a Physical Therapist at BioMechanics Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation, patient care, and home care services. This is an on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA.
Position Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
CA Licensed Physical Therapist.
CPR Certified.
Recent Physical within last year.
Clear TB Test experience (Entry Levels to Seasoned).
Works well unsupervised.
Physical Therapy in Home Health:
Evaluate patients.
Follow-up patients.
Patients are seen 2 to 3 times per week.
Post-surgical.
Balance.
Home safety.
ROM.
Strength training.
Equipment evaluation.
What to expect while treating:
45-minute treatments.
Easy laptop documentation.
1 to 7 pts in a week.
Qualifications
- Medicine and Physical Therapy
- Rehabilitation and Patient Care
- Home Care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California
- Experience in home health or a similar setting is preferred
- Advanced certifications or specialization in a specific area of physical therapy is a plus
