Datavanters bring a diversity of professional, educational and life experiences to realize our bold vision for healthcare.Role SummaryAs a Senior Financial Analyst in the FP&A group, you will be a financial expert who helps shape how we plan, measure, and invest in our business. You will partner closely with business leaders across the Provider organization to drive financial insight and operational efficiency. This role is both strategic and hands-on: you'll be building scalable reporting processes, surfacing key insights, and driving financial transformation as Datavant continues to grow.Specific RequirementsStrong financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis skills.Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, large datasets).Mastery of accounting principles and US GAAP.Strong communication and collaboration skills across levels and functions.In This Role You WillBuild and enhance financial models for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting cycles.Consolidate and analyze KPIs across multiple data sources to deliver clear business insights.Partner with stakeholders to design and implement scalable reporting processes.Review financial reports and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership.Support month-end close with variance analysis and commentary.Conduct ad hoc analysis (e.g. headcount, OPEX, indirect costs) to support strategic decision-making.What You Will Bring To The TableBA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related field.12 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or finance role at tech startup.Healthcare industry experience a plus.Ownership mindset with a drive to improve processes in a growing organization.Passion for Datavant's mission to connect the world's healthcare data.We are committed to building a diverse team of Datavanters who are all responsible for stewarding a high-performance culture in which all Datavanters belong and thrive.Datavant is committed to a work environment free from job discrimination.
