OVERVIEW


Blau & Associates is seeking a corporate Marketing and PR Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day relationships with our PR and social media agencies, our creative and web teams, restaurant staff and company executives. Blau & Associates is a strategic restaurant planning and development company that specializes in creating exceptional food and beverage concepts. Founded by Elizabeth Blau, our team applies extensive industry experience with modern analytics to assist an array of global clients conceptualize, establish, operate and reinvigorate their brands.


JOB DESCRIPTION


The Marketing and PR coordinator will report directly to the Director of Strategy & Marketing while working closely with the company founders, corporate team and operations team. This position will assist with all marketing initiatives designed to build awareness of both the corporate brand and hospitality brands, drive creative engagement, launch new initiatives and drive sales.


  • Support public relations agencies through media relations efforts, corporate and restaurant communications, fulfillment of media requests, managing schedules and press materials, maintaining lists of press requests and coverage, contributing media strategy ideas for our restaurants and the corporate brand, keeping update on restaurant/hospitality news and trends and more.
  • Support social media agencies through similar channels as the public relations agencies including assisting in content strategies and development, creative copy ideas, understanding analytics, creating organic growth and engagement strategies, tech skills associated with social media deployment and more.
  • Support and assist overall marketing efforts.
  • Manage on-going communications, marketing agendas and scheduling with restaurant management and staff.
  • Monitor on-line restaurant reviews.
  • Create and build out monthly marketing reports.
  • Manage all forms of corporate social media.
  • Manage website teams, website updates, google business and analytics.
  • Assist in the design, creative/collateral and messaging for email marketing.
  • Support corporate directives.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with key restaurant staff.
  • Assist teams on projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 2-3 years of experience in the public relations and/or marketing field.
  • Experience with media relations, maintaining updated press materials and photos and strategic public relations planning preferred.
  • Experience in advertising strategies, promotions and events preferred.
  • Experience and fluent tech knowledge for all forms of social media including content, creative, analytics, reels and more preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in the F&B/hospitality field preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Exceptional oral and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Must have proficient computer, program and tech skills.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office, Word Press, Dropbox, Monday.com and more.
  • Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Adhere to all Company standards and policies.
