Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Tech (SPOT) to join our team at Olathe, KS. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic Operating Room (OR) environment during the evening shift. The assignment is for 14 weeks with the potential for extension based on performance and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies according to established protocols and standards.
  • Assemble and package sterile instruments and supplies for use in surgical procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a hospital setting is required.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in a level 1 hospital.
  • Current CRCST/CSPDT or CBSPD certification and BLS certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
