Financial Analyst OpportunityGrowth oriented Corporate Treasury team looking to add an experienced financial analyst to help build and run FHN's liquidity risk management function. To be effective in this high visibility role the analyst must be well-organized, detail-oriented, possess superior analytical and communications skills, and have a strong work ethic. Top candidates must be able to demonstrate history of:Constructing well controlled, governed, and documented processes for financial analysis, data management, and reportingSummarizing key findings and preparing succinct presentations for senior management and the Board of DirectorsMeeting deadlines while independently taking initiative to drive complex projects to completionExciting opportunity to join a high caliber team Top performers will be rewarded with considerable exposure to key leaders across multiple departments and opportunities for formal and informal mentorship.Key responsibilities include:Develop and maintain reporting tools required to assess liquidity position including dashboards for KRI monitoring and cash flow forecastsSupport growth initiatives to comply with large financial institution regulatory requirements and reporting (for example: LCR, NSFR, and 2052a)Enhance liquidity stress testing capabilities including development of scenarios, assumptions, and back-testingAnalyze internal and external data to support all liquidity risk management functions including peer benchmarking analysisPerform economic, industry, and regulatory researchReview proposed regulations and provide impact analysisPartner with risk management, internal audit, and model validation to ensure processes and procedures are appropriate, executed, and follow Company and regulatory guidelinesAssist other teams in the Corporate Treasury department on ad-hoc projects covering asset/liability management, loan and deposit pricing, and capital planningQualifications include:Bachelor's degree; advanced degree and/or certification such as CFA or CPA preferredExperience in the banking industry (Finance, Risk, Audit, Business Intelligence, or Product team) preferred; open to training experienced professionals with transferable skillsAbility to generate high quality work product with strong attention to detailDemonstrated ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written formTeam orientation and excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to self-identify process gaps and weaknessesStrong organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills to manage responsibilities described aboveProficient in Microsoft Office suite.
