About The RoleThe Client Facilities Lead is essential to the operation of our studios. They serve as a maintenance leader overseeing all maintenance operations across the studio. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold brand standards and support business objectives. With strong time management skills, they will efficiently prioritize urgent maintenance needs. As a key member of the studio leadership team, the Facilities Lead will drive success through keeping equipment and studio clean. Creating an inviting space for clients, ensuring everything is in operating order, and providing excellent hospitality.What You'll DoWork with the General Manager to ensure delivery of all brand standards and initiatives for all aspects of the studioConsistently exhibit decision making and judgment based on safety, prevention, and high-quality client experiencesConduct daily walk through of the studio and adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists as well as upholding brand standardsPrepare studio spaces (lobby and locker rooms) before, after, and in-between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors, wiping mirrors and restocking amenitiesRegular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas, including the lobby space, FuelBar, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areasLaundry services, including collecting, washing, and folding towelsRepair small studio fixes in all facilities spacesAssist with the repair of Woodway treadmills and other fitness equipmentAssist with communicating specific tasks or projects to the Facilities Team for a given day or shiftCommunicate and escalate any facilities issues to the management teamWork with the General Manager to observe and communicate Facilities Team feedback and identify areas in need of improvement or staff in need of assistance or additional trainingSupport with facilities training for all new and existing team membersConduct regular maintenance inspections to ensure all equipment receives proper preventative maintenance on schedules created and/or previously established by the studio, standard best practices, and/or manufacturers guidelinesPlan and target areas of the studio needing immediate attention or repairs and in partnership with the General Manager help coordinate the project through completionDevelop and maintain preventive service schedules and best practicesMaintain relationships with equipment technicians, contractors, and vendorsQualificationsStrong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry's Mission, Vision and ValuesAbility to work either a full-time or part-time scheduleExperience in or desire to learn about facilities management and maintenanceExceptional cleaning skills and a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentAbility to communicate effectively and in a time-sensitive manner with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and clientsAbility to follow instructions in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organization and time management skillsDetail-oriented mindsetProven dependability and reliabilityFriendly and personable attitudePrior experience working with hand tools a plusAbility to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for long durations of timeAbility to move and lift equipment and supplies of 30+ poundsMinimum age of 18 years
