Technical Recruiter Position at SpaceXSpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make possible a future where humanity is out exploring the stars. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent candidates to fill mission critical positions. You will represent the company with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm, and work in teams while showing initiative, taking responsibility, and running tasks to completion.Basic qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience, or an associate degree and 2+ years of experience, or 3+ years of professional experience as a recruiter in lieu of a degree. Preferred skills and experience include 2+ years of technical recruiting experience, 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience, experience with in-house recruiting, experience with high volume recruiting, experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers, experience recruiting skilled labor, strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles, full life cycle recruiting experience, comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data, ability to distinguish between the top 50% and the top 5% of talent within their respective fields, demonstrated expertise in non-standard recruiting methods, comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders, ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates, ability to accurately present but not oversell candidates to client groups, influence decisions by acting as the subject matter expert on talent but avoid dictating client decisions, ability to multi-task and operate with little direction while still being an active team member.Additional requirements include availability to work extended hours and weekends as needed, and being onsite full-time in Redmond, WA (Seattle area). Compensation and benefits include a pay range of $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year for Technical Recruiter/Level I, and $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year for Technical Recruiter/Level II, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, various other discounts and perks, 3 weeks of paid vacation, and 10 or more paid holidays per year. Employees in Washington State accrue paid sick time in compliance with state and federal law. Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the SpaceX Redmond office Monday to Friday. This position is also eligible for a recruiting bonus plan.ITAR requirements include being a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident, refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
