As a video producer at DJI, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of high-quality video productions. This full-time role combines your on-set experience, post-production, and client (agency) knowledge, to work with creators around the world to execute exciting video campaigns.


Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating multi-deliverable video campaigns from start to finish.
  • Preparing and presenting internal and production budgets.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with external partners.
  • Prepping finance requests, pre-payment, and invoices.
  • Curating a high-quality vendor pool for remote productions.
  • Taking onus of projects communication with all departments.
  • Staying on top of legal issues, such as talent buyouts, handling customs/shipping, and global drone regulations.
  • Managing post-production processes with the internal teams, external creators, as well as 3rd party vendors.
  • Scheduling video meetings to accommodate for global time zones with internal stakeholders and external partners.


Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in film productions or creative agencies.
  • Client experience with global brands and accounts.
  • Experience finding fixers, crew members, and creators in various locations.
  • Experience with travel jobs, branded documentaries, as well as commercial and film production.
  • Good multi-tasking skills, detail-orientated, and solution-focused in high-stress environment.
  • Excellent time management and meticulous organization.
  • Strong ability to delegate, but don’t mind getting your hands dirty if need be.
  • Client budgeting and production coordination (locations, talent, crews, permits, etc.).
  • General production & post-production skills – editing/shooting/VFX (Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, After Effects) so you can have a good grasp of the product features and are able to test product.
  • You welcome challenges with a positive attitude and enjoy working with a small team to achieve high-quality work.
  • Good professional ethics, and a high ability to work under pressure with a smile • Enthusiastic DJI product users are preferred.
