Summary:
Support the COVID rapid antigen test kit distribution program and provide influenza vaccination to client's staff, and post-doctorals.
Core Duties:
- Open and setup test kit distribution station, including moving tables and chairs.
- Move boxes of the COVID test kits from the storage room.
- Hand out test kits to eligible students and staff.
- Provide simple directions or be able to direct the individual to client-approved websites.
- Gather questions to escalate to OHC clinic staff.
- Breakdown the distribution station setup and return supplies to storage area.
Requirements:
- California Registered Nursing License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work without constant direct supervision.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with giving influenza vaccinations to adults.
- Able to manage a medical situation, such as fainting or allergic reaction to vaccination.
- Ability to verify vaccination candidates’ eligibility status and to document vaccination information into the clinic’s electronic medical record.
