Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all electrical installations in various construction projects, ensuring compliance with the national electrical code and safety regulations.
2. Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring they adhere to project plans and specifications, and complete tasks on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate with other construction professionals, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
4. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
5. Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that all electrical work is completed on time and within budget.
6. Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
7. Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project requirements and are delivered on time.
8. Handle any electrical emergencies that may arise, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.
9. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Foreman in the construction industry, preferably with experience in industrial, commercial, tilt-up, and cold storage projects.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing and completing electrical installations in large-scale construction projects.
3. Extensive knowledge of the national electrical code and safety regulations.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of electricians.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with other construction professionals.
7. Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
8. Experience in refrigeration systems would be a significant plus.
9. A valid electrician's license.
10. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
