Senior AccountantWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Hawaii accounting department, including month-end and year-end close processes, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Key Responsibilities:Support the Assistant Accounting Manager with Accounts Receivable oversightSupport the Accounts Payable ManagerManage the month-end and year-end close processesAssist with cash managementSupervise and mentor junior accountants or accounting staffSupport audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and responsesEnsure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and relevant laws and regulationsMonitor and improve internal controls and accounting proceduresCollaborate cross-functionally with departments to support financial decision-makingQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingProficient in accounting software Sage Intacct and TitaniumAdvanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)Excellent attention to detail and analytical skillsStrong communication and organizational abilitiesAbility to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:CPA or CMA certificationExperience in Construction, Federal Contracts and Sage IntacctFamiliarity with ERP systems and automation toolsBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunities
