Mechanical Engineer

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for a variety of valve applications.
- With CAD produce models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy drawings
- Provide technical support to internal company departments such as quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing.
- Troubleshoot and support shop floor activities varying from material defects to valve assembly and testing.
- Prepare procedures (assembly, testing, qualification, etc.) and perform stress analysis for products and materials.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a similar Engineering Technology degree
- Knowledge of the manufacturing environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- 3+ years' experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably with an engineered to order product.
- Familiarity with product data management software and development of bill of materials.
- Technical knowledge of valves and valve products
- Familiarity with ASME Codes and Standards
