Be a critical part of our expanding Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) community at CHANEL -- "the ultimate House of Luxury." Be the Host of your boutique as the Boutique Director in our brand-new F&B Boutique located in Chestnut Hill, Boston, MA. Team Development

Ensure continuous growth and development of boutique staff with a focus on succession planning and career development. Create and drive development plans. Oversee annual review process for all store employeesLeverage fluency in product, service, and artistry skills to coach and support the boutique team, elevating their skills and expertise to deliver an exceptional client experienceFacilitate regular team communication sessions to ensure seamless communication of promotional activity, performance to goal, corporate initiatives, and any other important topicsProactively identify, address, and resolve employee issues in a professional manner and in accordance with CHANEL standards, policies, and procedures; partnering with HR as neededOwn recruitment for all positions on the team, including freelancers: attract, recruit, and retainEnsure a consistent and effective on-boarding experience for new hires

Leadership

Foster a positive working environment that encourages diversity, mutual respect and team collaboration and is free of discrimination and harassmentPlay an active role on the sales floor to lead the team by example through internal and external interactions and ensure a welcoming environment exists in the boutiqueAssume overall leadership responsibility for the boutique and act as the ultimate decision makerApproach the business with an omni-channel mindset, driving sales to fashion boutiques and CHANEL .com where appropriateDevelop relationships with internal Fashion Boutique personnel in the market and external vendors within your mall/center

Client Experience and Development

Provide a unique and memorable in store and after sales experience to every client, every day, and at every point of sale by being the Host of your boutiqueFoster a culture of building relationships and personalizing client experienceAddress and successfully resolve client situations according to company philosophy, policies, and standardsMeet the annual voice of client standards as defined by corporateAttend seasonal seminars hosted by Education Executives and corporate meetings

Model brand image expectations in terms of image code and service behaviors as a brand ambassador to all audiencesSupport and maintain a hygienic client experience by maintaining standardsMaintain visual merchandising standards at all timesCreate a culture of service, expertise , cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail

Business Driver and Brand Ambassador

Consistently achieve the overall sales objectives using all levers, including but not limited to products, services, and events to drive and maximize sales performanceStrive towards boutique excellence by effective goal setting in the area of sales, KPI's, clientelling , service behaviors, and CRMUtilize client data to retain , recruit, and grow client return ratesD evelop business initiatives that will continue to grow the client base, drive sales and the company's presence in the marketplace, with particular emphasis on building events relevant to the local marketProactively maintaining up-to-date awareness of the current industry trends and news, local trends, and competitive activityContinuously network to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities through building relationships within the local community

Operations and Reporting

Manage and drive appropriate stock levels of merchandise, communicate to corporate if there are any issuesOversee, in partnership with the Assistant Manager all operational tasksRecap weekly store performance and events ensuring timely submissionMonitor store expenses (including personnel costs) and maintain operating budgets, while continually striving to reduce overall costsSupport, promote, and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-store communication, and L/P auditsManage and optimize the staff scheduling to ensure adequate floor coverage for a superior customer service and effectively drive sales in collaboration with the Assistant ManagerCoordinate schedule requests, paid time off, holiday, and over-time and leave processing with HR/Payroll as they occur

Position Logistics :

Minimum of 7 years of leadership experienceBachelor's degree (preferred)Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines concurrentlyAbility to lift 20 lbs. and stand for extended periods of timeA flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidaysBoutique Management: Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results.

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through 105,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks .
