Job Summary and Qualifications Key responsibilities include: Participating in staff meetings and ongoing education requirements. Administering safe oxygen therapies as per protocols. Conducting non-invasive monitoring, including SpO2 via pulse oximetry and various studies. Delivering therapy modalities as ordered by physicians. Administering VEST therapy and managing CPAP/Bi-Level setups. Performing arterial punctures and maintaining blood gas quality control. Responding to emergency situations and participating in code blue interventions. Administering mechanical ventilation and assisting in bronchoscopies. Precepting new staff and conducting bedside spirometry and metabolic testing. Education Graduation from an accredited vocational school in Respiratory Therapy is required. An Associate's Degree is preferred. Experience One year of critical care experience is required. Experience in NICU/PICU is preferred. Licensure/Certification Must be a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. Maintain NBRC credentials for Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist. BLS certification is required.
