Position Summary:

Researches and implements search engine optimization (SEO) recommendations to existing website copy which includes placing keywords appropriately in copy to gain organic search engine traffic. Works with other members of the department on a daily basis to support the department’s strategic marketing messaging for all Foundations Recovery Network (FRN) websites. Optimizes new and existing web copy and landing pages for Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns.


Helps educate marketing and content teams on how to improve the performance of FRN websites in search engines by appropriately optimizing for conversions and user experience. Pursues content marketing and backlinking opportunities that align with facility goals. Determines key search phrases and optimize webpages that could drive traffic and increase conversions for all owned websites.


Essential Job Duties Responsibilities:

  • Content and Website Optimization:
  • Research/determine valuable key phrases to target and set priorities.
  • Develop metadata data (Alt, Title, and Description Tag). Work with content and web design team ensuring website is optimized for SEO performance.
  • Provide direction and strategy for SEO-targeted content and review all content produced for SEO performance.
  • Perform audits to identify issues and ensure sites are properly optimized.
  • Identify content consolidation opportunities and direct teams as appropriate.
  • Review Google Search Console for health websites (broken links, indexed pages, sitemap errors, etc.)
  • Manage 404 and 500 issues and strategic redirects for website properties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 1-3 years related work experience
  • 3+ years of experience optimizing with SEO tools such as Moz.com, Raven Tools, Link Research Tools, SEMrush, Majestic SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console
  • 2+ years of experience with keyword analysis using tools like Google Keyword Planner.
  • 1+ years of experience using CSS and HTML to style content.
  • Familiarity with using WordPress or other CMS to manage a website as well as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Knowledge of white hat and black hat tactics
  • Experience with Google services (Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google My Business.)
