Role Description


We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the development of innovative loan processing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies, including Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation, to streamline loan applications and processing. This role combines expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and back-end server development to create efficient, accurate, and scalable AI-driven systems for the financial services sector.


Key focus areas include implementing LLM-based features, optimizing RAG systems, managing vector stores, and developing robust back-end infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our loan processing capabilities through AI, driving efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Develop AI-powered features to streamline loan application and processing workflows using Large Language Models (LLMs).
  2. Create and maintain embeddings from mortgage-related documents, design and implement vector stores, and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enhanced information retrieval and accuracy in loan-related information processing.
  3. Build and maintain robust back-end server infrastructure to support AI-driven loan processing systems.
  4. Continuously refine AI models and strategies to enhance accuracy and performance in mortgage processing tasks.


Required Skills and Experience


  1. Strong background in machine learning and natural language processing
  2. Solid understanding of LLMs, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
  3. Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries
  4. Expertise in back-end server development and API design
  5. Understanding of financial services, particularly in loan processing
  6. Ability to optimize AI models for accuracy and performance


Preferred Qualifications


  1. Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
  2. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
  3. Knowledge of containerization and microservices architecture
