Associate Vice President, Title Production and Settlement

We are seeking an experienced Associate Vice President, Title Production and Settlement on behalf of our client. As an AVP, Title Production and Settlement, you will oversee the operations of all departments handling production of title insurance from the order entry process through the settlement process. This role reports directly to the EVP.


Duties:

  • Responsible for fully learning and understanding the processes for each department you oversee.
  • Update processes as needed and monitor processes for efficiencies.
  • Manage individual production and performance of direct reports; including completing semi-annual performance reviews.
  • Cross-train employees across many departments.
  • Contribute to the vibrant and interactive culture currently established at this employer.
  • Work directly with the EVP and leadership team to resolve difficult issues and simultaneously limit risk to the organization.
  • The ability to complete a HUD or ALTA is preferred, but not required.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the Title industry
  • Experience leading a team of professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills. Prior experience with using ResWare a plus.
