Job Description:

Title: Senior Architect Project Lead

Duration: 6-month contract; extensions/perm possible

Type: Fully onsite; 5 days/week Mon-Fri

Location: Anaheim, CA


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Architectural License in the State of California
  • 8+ years of experience with professional design experience in a wide range of project types and construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Extensive knowledge with the California Building Code, health codes, CalOSHA, and the American with Disabilities Act
  • Bachelor's of Architecture or Master's of Architecture from an NAAB accredited school

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Master Planning Experience
  • Construction Administration experience including site observation visits and review of RFIs and Submittals

Job Description:

A major entertainment client in Los Angeles is looking for a senior architect project lead to join the architecture team that supports a wide range of building and design such as shops, attractions, hotels, entertainment, maintenance facilities, offices, and nearly any built facility and area development. Projects range from preliminary research, full facility assessments to minor renovations or new facilities. Day to day responsibilities include developing project scopes of work for internal Architects/Engineers/Project Partners, resolving design issues creatively and thoroughly coordinating design with other disciplines. They will create drawings and specifications that comply with applicable codes, standards, and statutes. This person will also respond to city plan check comments and questions and respond to all RFI's and submittals with AOR/EOR. On the day to the day they will work with stakeholders to provide architectural resources, both technical and aesthetic, to develop project scope including design, planning and code compliance for estimation, develop project scopes of work and create RFP's (Request for Proposals) for external Architects/Engineers/Consultants. They will also provide internal cost estimates for project support and review budget throughout the project schedule and during design, coordinate schedule, meeting agendas, meeting participants to drive results. Lastly, they will review drawings and specifications at each design milestone to comply with applicable codes, standards, and statutes.


Compensation:

$85/hr to $88.74/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
