Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive project management experience, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead project teams through all phases of construction projects, from initiation to closeout.

2. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.

4. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

5. Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and invoicing.

6. Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, ensure quality standards are maintained, and address any issues or concerns.

7. Communicate effectively with clients, regularly updating project status, milestones, and deliverables.

8. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

10. Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions under pressure, and solve problems effectively.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is preferred.
