This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience to grow and develop their career in food science.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Assist in the research and development of new food ingredients and formulations.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate the physical, chemical, and functional properties of ingredients.
  • Support the scale-up of laboratory formulations to pilot and production scales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and sales.
  • Perform organoleptic evaluations and stability testing of ingredients.
  • Document and analyze experimental data, prepare reports, and present findings.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare, document, and ship samples to existing and potential customers for new business opportunities.
  • Assist in documentation organization such as updating specification sheets and laboratory documents.


Requirements: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Internship or work experience in a food science laboratory or related environment is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of food chemistry, microbiology, and ingredient functionality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
