We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Plant Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality control standards, and optimizing plant performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant management, operations management, and process improvement.
Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant productivity and efficiency
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and reduce waste
- Manage the plant budget and control costs to meet financial objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff, providing guidance and support
Plant Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience in plant management or operations management role
- Strong knowledge of quality control systems and lean manufacturing principles
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Experience in supply chain management and materials resource planning (MRP)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
