Responsibilities:


  • Develop, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with a specific emphasis on robotics applications.
  • Implement coding in languages such as ladder logic and structured text to optimize control systems.
  • Collaborate with the robotics team to seamlessly integrate PLCs into robotic systems, ensuring efficient and reliable automation processes.
  • Configure and troubleshoot robotics control systems for optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing of PLC and robotic systems to identify and resolve any issues or inefficiencies.
  • Optimize control algorithms and parameters to enhance system performance and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of PLC programs, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Generate reports on system performance and contribute to project documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, automation specialists, and project managers, to deliver successful projects.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to enhance project outcomes.


Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a PLC Programmer with a specific focus on robotics applications.
  2. Proficiency in PLC programming languages, including ladder logic and structured text.
  3. Experience with industrial communication protocols and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development.
  4. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and address issues in PLC and robotic systems.
  5. Knowledge of best practices and industry standards in PLC programming for robotics.
  6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
