Responsibilities:

  • Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation.
  • Review data to determine the appropriate material and the fabrication requirements for efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Consult with clients, vendors or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Support Customer Service personnel and salesmen with order review, order entry and delivery schedule.
  • Create CAD/Revit/SolidWorks/inventor drawings for engineering projects.
  • Convert technical drawings into 3d parametric parts and assemblies.
  • Program various machines for sheet metal application.
  • Develop a working knowledge of construction product specifications and detailing.


Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Drafting and Design OR technical certificate in AutoCAD drafting, SolidWorks, Revit and Inventor
  • Ability to understand and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine capabilities, fabrication techniques, software and databases
  • 5+ years of experience in 3d parametric software
  • Ability to work in a team environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
