As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Integration Technicians, you will be responsible for the fabrication, maintenance and operation of instrumentation and controls used in rocket engine testing. You will demolish the old I&C systems, perform fabrication, installation and checkout of wire harnesses, flight hardware and instrumentation systems. You will also need to have a good understanding of safely procedures associated with working with hazardous chemicals and high pressure systems.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in rocket engine test facility support, testing rocket or jet engines or closely related application
  • Ability to follow electrical diagrams such as AutoCad and P&ID drawings
  • Familiar with test, flight and safety critical hardware
  • Willingness to work with Data Acquisition Systems and sensors and a have an understanding of instrumentation calibration
  • Familiar with/ability to troubleshoot low voltage systems, 4-20mA signals, and thermocouples
  • Willingness to work second shift when needed
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time if needed to support other Blue Origin locations
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Must be able to gain access to Redstone Arsenal

Desired:

  • 1+ years of experience in propulsion facility/system or launch vehicle operation, integration or maintenance
  • Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including Liquid Oxygen, and cryogenic fuels
  • Experience with WAGO push-in termination blocks, or similar
  • Experience setting up, and pulling large amounts of LV wiring
  • Understanding of 5s principles and tool control measures

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
