Actual title of this role is Regional Account Manager, and in this role YOU make a huge difference for our customers This is an inside sales position spending 60% of your day on the phone consultative selling Magid and our products.
Responsibilities:
- Contacting and qualifying accounts based on industry and size of a given facility or company
- Networking to identify decision makers, processes, and procedures involved with the procurement of safety supplies
- Providing value above and beyond price by walking through key value propositions that will increase efficiency in your prospects role
- Create and deliver quotations to customers
- Work effectively with internal staff to meet customers delivery requirements
The Regional Account Manager role is a Monday through Friday (no evenings or weekends) position working a "hybrid" work week schedule of 3 days a week in office, 2 days remote. Magid is headquartered in Romeoville (IL). Therefore, you must be able to commute to Romeoville as required and/or as needed.
This role is an hourly paid position with monthly uncapped commission opportunities.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience, selling to the end user
- Ability to develop strategic client relationships
- Ability to open new accounts
- Strong presentation skills
- PC skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel
- Resilient, ability to adjust to the ups and downs and twists and turns of obtaining business/sales
