As we continue to expand our team, we are looking to add an experienced Mortgage Processor to join our Paramus, NJ office. In this role you will assess a medium to large pipeline of new loans, including loans of greater complexity and clients with more complex needs, maintaining exceptional and frequent communications with clients to ensure a seamless and first-class client experience throughout the entire loan process

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a frequent point of contact with the clients – typically by telephone, but also in-person and by email.
  • Working with all departments of operations to ensure things get done.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance with disclosure and verification requirements.
  • Cultivate and maintain a close relationship with all parties involved in the mortgage transaction.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all loan documentation is complete accurate verified and complies with company policy.
  • Verify loan documents including income, assets, credit, appraisal and title insurance.
  • Responsible for using independent judgment/decision-making to look at ways to improve the origination process through information received from our clients.
  • Responsible for managing anticipated closing date. - Provide feedback to management on loan activities based on loan level reporting.
  • Exceptional client focus and highly proactive mindset.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience of mortgage processing.
  • Prior knowledge of FHA/VA/Conventional loans
  • Proficient in calculating all forms of income
  • Strong client service & technical skills (MS Word & Excel)
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills are required
