Job TitleGuy Carpenter's North American Strategic Advisory is seeking candidates for the following position.What Can You Expect?Support GC broking operations by performing the catastrophe risk analytics necessary for reinsurance evaluation, decision-making, and placement. Act in an advisory fashion directly with our clients, in a wide range of areas. Develop a broad set of skills in risk management and the reinsurance industry.We Will Count On You To:Perform a wide range of catastrophe modeling projects. Act as the catastrophe risk expert as part of our account teams. Be a client advisor in areas such as catastrophe risk management, underwriting support, pricing adequacy, and reinsurance decision-making. Knowledge of data storage and manipulation tools such as MS SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, etc. Ability to lead the catastrophe analytics as a part of a client account team. Fundamental knowledge of the reinsurance industry.What Makes You Stand Out?Reinsurance experience. The applicable base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $235,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
