Job Summary: My client is a brand new hospice company in the Seven Hils area that is looking for RN Clinical Manager to lead clinical operations and ensure exceptional hospice care services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospice nursing and leadership roles, with experience in managing patient care programs in new start environments. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical aspects of the hospice program, patient admissions, care planning, team coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for clinical programs and policies.
- Ensure 24-hour RN availability for patient care.
- Foster a culture of excellence and innovation among clinical staff.
- Identify opportunities for program development and expansion.
Clinical Operations Management:
- Oversee clinical operations, including admissions, care planning, and team coordination.
- Assign and supervise clinical tasks for licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor and improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Staff Management and Development:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to clinical staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate staff development.
Interdisciplinary Team Coordination:
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among interdisciplinary team members.
- Lead team meetings to review patient cases and develop care plans.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for team members.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in OH required.
- Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in hospice or palliative care.
- BSN or MSN preferred; healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of one-year clinical supervision in new start hospice programs preferred.
- Strong knowledge in end-of-life care, pain management, and symptom control.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, budget management, and quality improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to hospice care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
