Scope of Responsibility:

The Immunologist Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the Polyclonal, Monoclonal, and Pharmacokinetic departments and processes. This role ensures adherence to client specifications and work orders, aiming to provide consistent, high-quality products and services to customers with complete and accurate documentation.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Project Schedulers across the company.


Position Requirements:

Note: Qualifications are based on education, resume, and work experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) and strong mathematical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Polyclonal and Monoclonal Antibody Generation.
  • Proficient in Windows-based systems, with familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with GLP/cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to give directions, train others, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of the metric system.
  • Hands-on experience with various PK and Toxicology Techniques and Studies.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate with external entities.
  • Attend and participate in project team meetings while coaching research associates.
  • Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records (BR) as needed.
  • Attend client meetings for new business development.
  • Collaborate with team members to design experiments and engage in creative problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to project management.
  • Provide routine project updates to internal and external clients for all ongoing projects.
  • Perform work in accordance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) or Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) as required by study specifications.
  • Create project and laboratory reports while maintaining necessary records.
  • Assist in preparing investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
  • Develop additional training materials and marketing content for Sales and Marketing.
  • Update pricing models as necessary.
  • Oversee all project schedulers in the Polyclonal, Monoclonal, and Pharmacokinetic studies.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in the immunology field.


Education:

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in a scientific field preferred, with a minimum of five years of experience in a scientific environment.


Physical Requirements:

  • This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the lab.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or move items up to fifty pounds.


Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
  • The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet, with exceptions for equipment noise.
