Currently, StaffBright has a great fully onsite Payroll Specialist position located near Southfield, MI. We're seeking candidates with 3+ years of payroll tax experience


What You Will Be Doing:

Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll processes for all U.S. business units, ensuring accurate and timely payroll, as well as handling payroll-related tax matters

Utilize ADP SmartCompliance and tax reporting through ADP and other third-party providers


What We Need From You:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Tax payroll experience, supporting multiple business units preferably

Experience with ADP Smart Compliance, Workday is preferred

A broad knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and tax-related processes

Someone who is highly analytical, a skilled problem solver, and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail

Functional payroll certification (FPC) and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) desired
