The Human Resources Director will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. Responsible for strategic initiatives including organizational and training development, performance management, employee relations, recruiting and retention, policies and procedures, benefits administration, employee engagement and retention, and compliance.


Qualifications

Manage and execute HR programs and initiatives.

Ensure effective implementation of ongoing programs, including the annual performance management process.

Design and implement HR best practices; leverage expertise and utilize resources to support and promote client group business objectives.

Create and implement recruitment process to identify, engage, and attract talent across all functions of the company.

Provide problem evaluation/interpretation of policy for management and employees; advise/counsel employees and management with the objective of problem prevention and resolution.

Handle employee relations issues.

Assist business leaders with training, development, and succession planning issues; design and propose initiatives and programs to train and develop employees, increase productivity, improve morale, motivate employees, and create a positive employee relations climate.

Partner with the leadership team to design, develop and support the implementation of corporate HR initiatives and programs.

Handle benefits administration and partner with vendors.

Manage other projects as needed.


Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

15+ years’ HR experience with a broad Generalist background

PHR/SPHR certification a plus

7+ years of management experience while supporting multiple locations

Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and employment laws

Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills with ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information as needed

Strong business acumen and business partnering skills

Excellent consulting, coaching, organizational and facilitation skills and ability to influence leadership.

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
