Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated OR/PACU Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality medical services. We also provide free lunch/snacks and a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and provide direct care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist in medical procedures as a circulator in the OR and recover patients from surgical procedures in PACU
- Educate patients on aftercare and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with MD's, Anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and sterile procedure
Skills:
- Proficiency in sterile procedure, IV starts, foley insertion, etc
- Experience in OR or PACU setting preferred
- Competence in Medication Administration and IV Infusion
- Knowledge of ACLS procedures
- Physical ability to lift patients when necessary
