Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial insights.
  • Analyze and audit job-specific costs, preparing comprehensive reports for management analysis.
  • Maintain the cost accounting system/modules to ensure accurate cost tracking.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations for precise financial recording.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger balances and inventory detail ledgers to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Contribute to audits, GL preparation, physical inventories, and other accounting duties.
  • Process commission payments accurately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or construction accounting is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential for data analysis and financial assessment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including charts, LOOKUP, complex IF functions, and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in SAP or an ERP system is preferred for efficient financial management.
