IN SEARCH FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT IN WHICH WE WOULD TRAIN TO BECOME OUR PAIN TECHNICIAN AS WELL.
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, data collection, and medical-surgical systems.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a surgical center setting and contribute to various areas in the procedural room.
Pain clinic procedural technolagistProparly prepares medications and supplies in accordance with physician preferences. Maintains the sterile field for intraprocedural injections by physician. Adhere's to clinical standards of care and participates in a teamwork enviornment. Willing to train the right candidate.
Job duties:
- Preparation of sterile pain pack
- Proper preperation of intraprocedural medications per physician's orders.
- Adherence to sharps safety protocol, pre and post procedures.
- Preperation of procedure site with sterile prep and sterile drapes.
- Assisting physician during procedures.
- Management of inventory and supplies for pain procedures.
Minimum qualifications:
- Must be able to handle moderate/heavy levels of activity.
- Basic medical terminology
- Background in medical field (preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of sterile process A PLUS BUT WILL TRAIN.
