**Job Description:**

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst who excels at translating business needs into actionable data requirements. This role involves close interaction with business data owners to refine and enhance dashboards, adjust filters, and address complex data requirements. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with Tableau, AWS data pipelines, and possess a deep technical understanding to effectively guide our Data Engineers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with business data owners to understand and document their data needs, ensuring clarity and feasibility.

- Drive the translation of business requirements into precise data needs for Data Engineers.

- Maintain and enhance Tableau dashboards, ensuring they meet the evolving requirements of the business.

- Manage AWS data pipelines, ensuring data flows from multiple sources, landing in S3, and undergoes necessary processing and enrichment.

- Understand and manage the sequencing, partitioning, loading, and joining of tables, applying appropriate business logic to prepare data for Tableau ingestion.

- Provide clear direction to Data Engineers, breaking down complex data requirements into actionable tasks.

- Document data requirements meticulously, facilitating changes to the data pipeline and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Participate in grooming calls, identifying and addressing any potential issues or "unknown unknowns."

- Use Confluence and Jira for comprehensive documentation and project tracking.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst, with a track record of successful engagements.

- Advanced proficiency in Tableau, including server-side management.

- Extensive experience with AWS data lake and data pipelines.

- Strong expertise in Python and heavy SQL usage, particularly in SELECT and JOIN operations.

- Familiarity with Quicksight for data visualization.

- Excellent documentation skills using Confluence and Jira.

- Ability to understand and convey the technical implications of business decisions.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding effective solutions to complex data challenges.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in a technical business environment is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Certification in Tableau or AWS.

- Experience with data enrichment processes and advanced data processing techniques.
