The Icebox is seeking a Director of Technology who will lead our digital transformation, and positioning our technology stack to achieve more efficiency, constant innovation, and improved quality. This role starts with a strategic review of our current technological operations, recommendations to senior leadership, and aggressive implementation of a new technology roadmap. The company is on a strong growth trajectory, and we are looking for a technology leader that can support our business plans.

 

The Icebox is a full-service branded apparel and merchandise agency. We work with our clients to take their brand message and connect it with today’s culture, trends, and attitude through memorable swag and apparel. Founded in 2001, we provide turnkey services to our clients including sourcing and production and customized decoration on products we source. The Icebox is dedicated to giving back and helping the greater community as an active participant in many non-profit organizations across Atlanta.

 

TECHNOLOGY PRIORITIES

·NetSuite Ecosystem Optimization

o  Initial Setup and Integration: Finalize the launch of NetSuite along with associated platforms (Celigo, RingCentral, Adobe Commerce) by early Q3, ensuring all integrations are seamlessly operational.

o  Continuous Improvement and Customization: Spend the next 18 months continuously refining these systems, focusing on customization to enhance functionality and performance specifically tailored to our business processes.

o  User Training and Support: Develop comprehensive training programs for end-users to maximize the utilization of new systems and ensure smooth adoption within the company.

·eCommerce Platform Evaluation and Enhancement

o  Comprehensive Solution Assessment: Evaluate current and potential eCommerce solutions to ensure they meet existing customer needs and anticipate future requirements.

o  Customer-Centric Technology Strategy: Align technological solutions with customer expectations as highlighted in RFPs to prevent business loss and enhance acquisition opportunities.

o  Innovation and Adaptability: Foster a culture of innovation that encourages the exploration of advanced technologies and solutions to keep pace with market trends and customer demands.

·Strengthening Security Posture

o  Cybersecurity Framework Implementation: Maintain a robust security stance across all technological fronts, including PCI compliance and IT infrastructure.

o  Advanced Security Protocols: Focus on safeguarding endpoints, email systems, and protecting against crypto attacks to ensure data integrity and security.

o  Proactive Threat Management: Implement advanced threat detection systems and conduct regular cybersecurity audits to identify and mitigate risks promptly.

o  Employee Training and Awareness: Regularly train staff on security best practices and the importance of maintaining a secure operating environment.

o  Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Stay updated on and compliant with the latest security regulations and standards relevant to our industry.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Strategic Vision and Execution: Develop and implement a forward-looking Technology strategy that not only aligns with our business objectives, transforming our ERP and e-commerce frameworks to drive growth.

•Technology Leadership: Champion the optimization of NetSuite and our e-commerce solutions, ensuring they not only support but enhance business operations and customer engagement.

•Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the strategic liaison with our Managed Services Provider, aligning IT infrastructure management to maximize value and innovation.

•Cultural and Technological Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the Technology team, integrating cutting-edge practices and technologies to enhance operational efficiency, security, and effectiveness.

•Leadership and Team Development: Inspire and lead the Technology team in a way that fosters collaboration and alignment with the business’s broader goals, ensuring technology solutions are both impactful and supportive of business needs.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND PREREQUISITES:

•A proven leader in digital transformation –skilled in ERP and e-commerce integration, cloud technologies, and IT security, you have a deep understanding of the IT landscape and are adept at leveraging these systems to drive substantial improvements.

•A team leader that is also willing to roll up your sleeves regardless of how challenging the work or situation is.

•Professionally mature with great communication skills – highly thoughtful individual who is a good listener and communicator, and very capable of building and managing relationships.

•Proactive with intellectual curiosity – analytical skills and mind with the ability to rapidly solve complex problems.
