Job Description:

Client is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with Tableau experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, data analytics, and visualization, with expertise in building and managing dashboards using Tableau. This role will require the ability to integrate data from multiple sources, analyze complex datasets, and create visual reports to support key business decisions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications to automate data processing and reporting tasks. Design and maintain Tableau dashboards to present complex datasets in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights using Tableau.
  • Work with large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the reporting process.
  • Implement data pipelines to collect, transform, and load data for real-time or scheduled reporting.
  • Optimize Python scripts and Tableau dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Integrate Tableau with back-end systems using Python to enable seamless data flows.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to best practices for data visualization and analysis.


Skills and Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in Python development with a focus on data analysis and automation.
  • Strong expertise in Tableau for dashboard creation and data visualization.
  • Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Proficient in working with relational databases (SQL) and Snowflake (preferred).
  • Experience with APIs and integrating data sources into Tableau using Python scripts.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and visualization libraries like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management.
  • Tableau Prep experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
