Accountant OpportunityWe are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in Houston, Texas. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in processing invoices, maintaining precise records, and resolving any discrepancies.Responsibilities:Accurately processing invoices in adherence to project timelinesEnsuring the accurate input of all invoices and payment requests into the payables workflow systemReviewing invoices for accuracy, ensuring all contracted construction inspection rates and requirements are metWorking collaboratively with vendors and contract administrators to rectify any billing inaccuraciesAssisting in setting up new vendors in the Vendor Maintenance System, as well as implementing required changes to ensure prompt paymentSupporting Project Managers by receiving materials and providing ad-hoc support related to materialsResolving ad-hoc accounting issues related to invoicesRequirements:Proficient in Accounting Software SystemsKnowledge and experience with ADP - Financial ServicesFamiliarity with Cl ProgrammingExperience in using Concur for expense managementUnderstanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systemsAbility to perform all basic Accounting FunctionsExperience managing Accounts Payable (AP)Experience managing Accounts Receivable (AR)Proven experience in AuditingAbility to manage and reconcile Balance Sheet AccountsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
