Job Description:

Business Solution Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst BSA ETL Modernization Project will lead the evaluation and modernization of ETL tools within the organization This role involves comprehensive project management from preparation and research through evaluation and final decisionmaking The BSA will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure the project meets its objectives and timelines ultimately enhancing data integration capabilities and operational efficiency

Work you will do

As a business analyst youll work within a team involving multidisciplinary professionals helping to manage change and plan This could be for one specific project or as a driver for change to implement the agreed Roadmap Youll need to understand the current system identify future needs and create solutions to help meet those needs You will also play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties acting as a translator were necessary to support the clients needs

Responsibilities

Project Preparation and Planning

o Define clear objectives and develop criteria for ETL tool evaluation including cost performance scalability ease of use support and integration capabilities

o Identify potential ETL tools manage the TPRMCyber review process and collaborate with IT leaders to define project scope objectives and deliverables

Research Analysis and Documentation

o Conduct thorough reviews consult industry experts and gather insights on ETL tools

o Collect user reviews and case studies analyze feedback and document all processes and decisions

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

o Engage continuously with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements conduct surveys and facilitate workshops

o Manage communications provide updates and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure stakeholder satisfaction

Testing Evaluation and Tool Selection

o Establish a robust testing environment oversee tool installation and conduct comprehensive testing

o Evaluate tools based on established criteria using scorecards prioritize features and select top tools for different personas through handson proofs of concept POCs

Decision Making and Implementation

o Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders facilitate decisionmaking and lead crossfunctional teams in the deployment of selected ETL tools

o Ensure smooth implementation and integration focusing on minimizing disruption to business operations

Training Change Management and Support

o Develop and deliver training programs lead change management initiatives and provide technical support as necessary

o Conduct peer training sessions and workshops to educate on new processes and tools

Documentation Compliance and Reporting

o Maintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals system designs and standard operating procedures

o Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations and prepare detailed project reports for senior management

Project Management and Support

o Develop detailed project plans manage project budgets resources and timelines

o Assist with project management tasks and provide performance metrics and status reports to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Information Technology Business Administration or a related field

Proven experience in business systems analysis with a strong emphasis on ETL processes and data integration projects

Demonstrated ability to manage largescale IT projects and lead crossfunctional teams

Experience with business intelligence tools and proficiency in SQL

Strong technical proficiency in ETL tools and data integration technologies

Ability to understand technical diagrams and user specifications

Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities focused on project management and ETL processes

Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and effectively lead project teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing IT projects from inception to completion particularly in ETL tool evaluation and implementation

Advanced certifications in project management eg PMP or specific ETL technologies

Experience with cloud data platforms AWS Azure Google Cloud and modern ETL tools

Familiarity with TPRM cybersecurity review processes data governance and compliance standards

Prior success in ETL modernization initiatives and experience leading modernization projects in a similar industry or business environment"
