This individual will be responsible for handling the team and take decision and have client facing experience


Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Cohesity and NetBackup systems to meet business requirements.
  • Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to backup policies, procedures, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backup and recovery operations, escalating as necessary to vendor support.
  • Perform regular system upgrades and patches to keep the backup infrastructure up to date and secure.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on backup and recovery processes and tools.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing exercises to validate the effectiveness of backup and recovery procedures


Skills Required or Desired:

Must Have Skills:

  • 6+ years’ experience.
  • Strong knowledge & hands on experience on NetBackup
  • Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Cohesity
  • Strong knowledge & hands on experience on EMC Data Domain.
  • Must have good Written & Verbal communication skills


Good to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge on Data domain Administration
  • Knowledge on VMware Administration
