Open up opportunities with HPE.Job Description:Message, implement and measure sustained executive, field, channel or employee communications strategies and plans to advance the company's corporate image, drive employee alignment and engagement, enable selling success or promote executive visibility. Develop internal and external leadership platforms and content and manage speaker placements and prep. Focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope. Ensure communications align with company's brand identity and messaging framework.In this communications role, you will provide executive and team member communication support for the HPE Operations organization, assisting with counsel to our Senior Vice President (SVP) of HPE Operations and his Leadership team as they engage with team members, partners, suppliers, customers, industry analysts, and external media. The successful candidate for this role will be entrusted with supporting implementation of communication strategies to advance HPE Operations key priorities.As a member of the Global Communications team, you will design and execute internal and external communication plans for various programs in concert with colleagues in the U.S. and internationally. You'll work in a close-knit team of well-regarded colleagues to support strategic operations communications and the implementation of 360-degree communications plans.You'll do well in this role if you have a growth mindset, a collaborative spirit, a strong bias for action, and can drive projects to completion with a high degree of independence. Strong writing and narrative creation skills are essential. The team you'll join is high-performing and offers many opportunities for stretch projects to add to your overall career development and solidifying your area of expertise.Responsibilities for this role include:StorytellingResearching and drafting internal and external communications, consulting with subject matter experts on narratives and thought leadership, including novel Automation use cases, supply chain sustainability, cybersecurity and more.Recommending and developing/modifying external communications to extend the reach of internal communications initiatives when appropriate for external audiences, including proposing thought leadership, social posts, interviews and more.Narrative DevelopmentUpdating and developing new messaging, narratives and content to be used in various communications campaigns, including talking points, scripts, and team member communications.Ensuring that Operations communications align with HPE's company narrative, brand identity, and messaging framework.Communications Strategy & PlanningDeveloping sustained executive and team member communications strategies in support of key Operations responsibilities, including Quote-to-Cash, Supply Chain, and Services Delivery.Aligning communication strategies across campaigns in a consistent, integrated way, identifying opportunities to incorporate key messaging across campaigns.Consulting on communication strategies for team member engagement where the focus may be global, national, regional, sub-regional or local in scope.Enhancing the creation, impact, and innovative nature of team member and executive communications by contributing to the development of processes and tools.Project ExecutionImplementing end-to-end integrated communications programs.Implementing management of change projects, including confidential initiatives.Developing and supporting Operations leaders on individual deliverables, including recording videos, drafting scripts, slides and emails, attending rehearsals, and managing edits.Education and Experience Required:BA or BS in Communications, Marketing. Business Administration or a similar field.5+ years of experience in communications, journalism, marketing or a similar field.Required knowledge and skills:Superior writing and editing skills, requiring little editing; narrative building experience for enterprise technology is a plus.An instinct to self-initiate action, and the discipline to see an initiative through from start to finish.A confident executive presence with diplomacy, active listening, and consultative traits.Knowledge and understanding of external (earned and owned) communications methodologies, strategies, tools, and vehicles.Adaptive and flexible mindset to pivot to meet evolving business, communication program and Global Communications organizational needs.Ability to work directly with technologists, program owners, Chiefs of Staff, and other non-executive stakeholders to contribute to strategic communications plans.A growth-oriented mindset and interest in developing within a high-performing team.Successful candidates will also demonstrate:A passion for learning about new technologies, partners, processes and company initiatives.Confidence with video and imagery, especially in coaching leaders through recordings, video interviews, and team-member communications.Familiarity with methodologies to measure the results of communications initiatives.What We Can Offer You:Health & WellbeingWe strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.Personal & Professional DevelopmentWe also invest in your career because the better you are, the better we all are.
