Petroleum Outside Sales Representative


Job Description:

As a Petroleum Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships within the petroleum industry. Your primary duties include identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, presenting product solutions, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service to meet sales targets. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients through market research and networking.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, and competitors.
  • Provide post-sale support and address any client issues or concerns.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales in the petroleum industry is a must.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of petroleum products and industry trends.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally frequently.
